Frequently asked questions

What counts as an entrant?
An entrant is a unique lead who joins a giveaway from the widget, automatically by placing an order, manually from the dashboard, or via CSV import. Repeat entries from the same person don't count twice. Your plan's monthly lead cap resets at the start of each billing cycle.
What happens if I hit my lead limit?
Your live giveaways keep running and no entrant is ever turned away. Leads collected above your plan's allowance are temporarily locked until you upgrade your plan: you can see how many you have, but their contact details stay hidden, they are left out of winner draws and CSV exports, and they are not synced to your email marketing tools. We warn you in the app and by email at 80% and 100% of your allowance, so you see it coming.
Do locked leads unlock when my billing cycle resets?
No. Your allowance resets every cycle, so new leads start coming in unlocked again, but leads that are already locked stay locked until you upgrade. Nothing is ever deleted in the meantime.
What happens to my locked leads when I upgrade?
They are all released as soon as your upgrade goes through, including leads locked during previous billing cycles, with their full contact details and history intact. If you downgrade later, leads that were already unlocked stay unlocked.
What is the AOV Booster?
The AOV Booster is a paid entry multiplier customers can add at checkout to boost their odds while lifting average order value, typically by 5-15%. Available on Premium and above.
Do I need a purchase to run a giveaway?
No. Every plan supports both no-purchase-necessary and shop-to-win giveaways from the same campaign engine.
Can I switch plans or bill annually?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your dashboard. Annual billing saves 20% versus monthly.
What's the difference between Academy and White-Glove onboarding?

Academy is self-serve training included on every plan: guides, templates, and best practices you work through at your own pace.
